Straight out of the West Country, Jabru has been spreading tendrils widely over the last couple of years. He’s released hip hop, house, spacious soul and more, with co-signs from people like Will Saul, JD Twitch, Hackman, Zed Bias  and, uhh, our own Joe Muggs – but everything has had a strong undercurrent of the bass and space of vintage dub. And it’s that which has come to the fore on this stirling chugger, out soon on Hypercolour sister label Losing Suki, which has got “smoky summer evenings” written all over it.
