Jim Coles continues to redefine high-velocity dance music at every turn. Following his recent set for Metalheadz – in which he utilised a legendary sample pack from the very infancy of the label, telescoping together two decades of drum’n’bass – comes his first solo release for his own Cosmic Bridge Records. It’s spacious, sinister, psychedelic – and, on this deep and dangerous roller of a track, full of percussion that sounds like it’s played by a multi-limbed artificial intelligence.
