Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. These Terms and Conditions

1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the ‘Crowdsourced’ series organized and run by Boiler Room UK Limited

1.2. By submitting audio to this series, you agree that you are legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3. Boiler Room UK Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 110 Wapping High Street, London, E1W 2NE. You can write to us at this address if you have any concerns in relation to the Crowdsourced series.

2. Eligibility

2.1. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older.

2.2. All entries submitted must be original work and shall not infringe any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Entrant shall, by submitting audio, indemnify and hold Boiler Room harmless from and against any claims inconsistent with the foregoing.

3. Entry

3.1. Entrants may submit a maximum of five pieces of audio.  It is entrant’s responsibility to ensure that the submitted song(s) are complete and playable. Boiler Room does not give direct feedback or a critique to entrants beyond them being discussed in show.

3.2. Entries will be screened by a Boiler Room listening committee to ensure they are fit to feature in the series (do not contain offensive or copyrighted material). Entrant agrees to accept the final decision of Boiler Room and its listening committee.

3.3. Entrants cannot be signed to or have any affiliation with a major label record company (Sony BMG, EMI Group, Universal Music Group, or Warner Music Group or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries or imprints) or have distribution through a major label or its affiliates. Entrants who are on independent labels, their own label, or no label are eligible to enter. The audio entered cannot be owned in any part by a music publishing company (entrant must own 100% of the publishing rights to the song). 

3.4. Entrant retains all ownership rights to the original audio they submit. Neither Boiler Room will have any ownership rights to any individual pieces of original audio submitted. Boiler Room will use the resulting music for promotional purposes only, featuring them exclusively on our own channels.

3.5. In submitting audio to the series, you hereby warrant that your submission and all information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party.

3.6. Entrant acknowledges that all audio submitted will be subject to the judgement of , and Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold Boiler Room harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in the competition.

3.7. No fees shall be payable to any entrant in relation to their submission to in the series.

4. Failure to Enforce Terms and Conditions

4.1. A failure by us to enforce any one of these terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any entrant or winner, nor shall it be deemed to be a waiver of any of our rights in relation to the same.

5. Exclusion of Liability

5.1. By entering, entrant agrees to accept and be bound by the decisions of Boiler Room, which are final and binding in all matters. Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official terms and conditions as established herein.

6. Laws

6.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.
