DBM “Squeeze”

“Squeeze” first entered Boiler Room consciousness via good old radio rip. Seeping through Murlo‘s routine pick-n-mix of dancehall and bubble-wrapped grime tunes came a real emerald.

The Deadboy and Murlo (aka DBM) axis thrives on a freakishly similar taste in music. Studio sessions have been taking place for the last 18 months, and a conveyor belt of tracks have been moulded within that time. The vast majority of those stems are still stuck in a non-descript Logic folder, and because of the pair’s relentless solo calendars, are staying there for the time being. So, the bad news is that a lot of those tracks haven’t seen the light of day. The good news? A lot of those tracks haven’t seen the light of day.

While we salivate over what project files are yet to be bounced, sink your canines into “Squeeze”. Sugar-coated, feet-shuffling fun sprinkled with expertly chopped dancehall whoops; run di riddim.
