DJ Bone “Tipping Point”
DJ Bone is back on Leftroom after December’s sturdy Cultural Variance EP workings. Arguably one of dance music’s most criminally underrated worker bees, Bone has cultivated a discography full of techno trimmings of the highest quality. The majority of his output has surfaced via his own Subject Detroit label, but his talents fan out wider than production alone. A rep as one of Detroit’s finest underground vinyl technicians can’t be overstated (naysayers, grab an eyeful of his recent Bloc session ). “Tipping Point” has a daintier feel than the flipside; seven minutes long and characterised by constantly folding soft chord rumbles. It’s All About is out on July 6th (vinyl) and 20th July (digital).
