Sound design and techno experimentation are both familiar territories for Munich-born, Berlin-based audiovisualist, Monolake (Robert Henke). A name that 50WEAPONS are very excited to welcome to the family, forming part of their closing 12″ series. This is the seventh opus out of ten in total, split between Henke and Anstam, with “VT-100” on the flip ranking highly in our books. Henke elects the unexpected, with a sampled live drum kit providing the reverb-rich percussion throughout the techno-inspired track. Six minutes of a well versed sound, turned on its head.
