Longtime Numbers and Night Slugs crew member and well-seasoned selector P.O.L. Style has finally come correct with a first solo outing and – surprise surprise – it bangs. Frankly so too does the whole EP, boasting turbo-charged edits from Neana and MikeQ, but it’s “Saw 2” that had bodies at BR HQ jerking in sync. A bobbling bassline, tracky percussion and intense sense of momentum: three sides of a flawless Triforce. As for the titular film reference? Let’s chalk that up to P.O.L. calling horror-lusting cities of Tokyo and Glasgow both home.
