Saturday Six: Week 006

Let’s face it, everyone yearns for those unforgettable party recounts. Many of our nocturnal escapades are cemented in our brains thanks to the reloading of a favourite track or some flash of human bonding.

Over the years, Boiler Room has become a treasure trove for such time freezes. Something that we pride ourselves on every time we open our doors. Although momentarily being worked in our archives, you’ll see how last Tuesday’s run-in with Dan Deacon exemplified this impeccably – we’re talking fully fledged dance battles, a hyper-connected audience and genuine jollity backed by madcap pop-electronica.

In light of that, we’ve arranged six instances where DJ, audience (and stream) have been united by spontaneity. This is an ode to all the exuberant crowds and unexpected flashes of crowd interaction. Pillow fights, mass sing-a-longs and a poignant Jackmaster send-off feature along the way.

Otto Von Shirach (Berlin – May 20, 2014)
That moment when Otto had everyone locked in a Bermuda Triangle hand gesture, including Michail and a mustang-headed being – 1:03:00 onwards

Look out for a custom-made Boiler Room rug during this Jersey Club special – 1:25 onwards

Lil Silva (London – Aug 5, 2014)

Optimo b2b Harri & Domenic Sub Club (Glasgow – Jan 22, 2014)

Dixon b2b Âme (Amsterdam – Oct 25, 2012)
The twosome make a hotel room of people lose their shit and beat each other up with pillows. It wasn’t the first time either – 1:04:10 onwards
