Machines

08 May 2018, 20:00 - 23:00 CEST

Like so many in the city of Berlin we dream of wires at night. Wires connecting LFOs and CV Gates, sending voltages and currents and MIDI signals back and forth, turning oscillators and waveforms into a cavalcade of synthesized glee. To celebrate the machines that don’t let us sleep at night and to pay tribute to all the crazy scientists creating sounds and soldering new modules, we invited some of our favorite gear heads and modular synth freaks for a truly special night of modular madness.

Orchestrated and mixed live by no other but electronic music heavyweight Jochem Paap aka Speedy J, 12 experienced knob twiddlers are coming together at the iconic Funkhaus for an exclusive and never seen before jam session. Equipped with one square meter of equipment each (the only limitation we gave everyone), none of the participants have ever played live together, some of them making their live debut even tonight. We don’t know what will happen, but we’re pretty sure it will blow our minds (or at least our speakers).
