Dutch Rap is an interesting phenomena - on one hand highly endemic to the country of its origin, but on the other hand incredibly important to Rap music as a whole, making it a breeding ground for new trends copied internationally. After years of having explored the Dutch electronic music scene we're finally touching down in Rotterdam with One Night Only, a deep dive into the Duttch rap scene. We'll be covering everything from chart topping super stars, underground heroes, young artists leading the next generation and MCs challenging the status quo, combined with some of the finest DJs working the booths and stages in Netherlands.
Nederlandse rap is super interessant - aan de ene kant gebonden aan het kleine landje, aan de andere kant bijzonder belangrijk voor rapmuziek als geheel. Het is een kweekvijver van talent en een voedingsbodem voor trends die wereldwijd overgenomen worden.
