Believe it or not, it's been roughly a decade since the dubstep we know and love began conquering the globe. From its late 90s/early 2000s concrete jungle roots in Croydon, 2006 saw the low end wobble around the world; helped in huge amounts by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, DMZ and a bunch of diligent intercontinental music-makers.
To celebrate, we've put together a double-whammy session across two key regions. On September 20, Deep Medi don, Compa, presents a night of 100% vinyl dubstep action along with Youngsta, Benny Ill and J:Kenzo in South London. Two days later, Hatcha heads up a similarly weighty line up in Berlin — one of the early landing spots for this 140bpm sound — featuring Bukez Finezt, Orson and Saiman.
