Boiler Room Argentina: HiedraH Club de Baile

Boiler Room is setting out on a tour of Latin America to celebrate & showcase some of its most vital collectives & crews. The first date spotlights Hiedrah Club de Baile in Buenos Aires–– the Argentinian LGBTQ+ artist collective & label who are re-mapping a wild new standard for avant-garde electronic club music in the Global South. Hacking the structures of European club practice and preserving the singularity of local sounds, their work as a collective is as much political as it is pleasurable. This party will showcase three of their resident DJs (Braian, #Brea & Aggromance) & a special live performance from Efe5, the electronic candombe supergroup combined of Uruguay's Lechuga Zafiro & C 1080. Xirgu Espacio Untref is the destination for our collaboration–– an institution that enables & fosters the growth of underground & DIY culture in the city.
