Boiler Room Detroit: Movement Festival with Heidi

It's taken us four years but we are finally touching back down at Movement, aka Techno Xmas. Similar to 2015's Chicago vs Detroit trip, it's going to be a match-up/face-off situation – but this time, between some lived-in heroes and some faces we wanna spotlight.

Local girl, ever-exuberant spirit and Jackathon superstar Heidi will headline our pre-party, and we can't wait to have her back. She'll be backed up by Movement mainstay Kevin Saunderson; we aren't even going to try and explain this man's relevance to Detroit and electronic music, you gotta know that one by know.

DJ Shiva aka Noncompliant is a Midwest veteran, plying her trade at raves and on radio for the best part of 20 years – she's a noted destroyer in the dance, and her first BR set is sure to be no different. Her heavyweight sounds will be counter-balanced by rising star Loren, a resident of Detroit's TV Lounge, and New York's Justin Cudmore, who broke out last year with a great Honey Soundsystem 12"
