Spain is currently experiencing an explosion of new talent, that for the first time looks at the countries own traditional sounds and reinterprets them for a new generation. The embrace of sounds such as Reggaeton and Flamenco, which were previously looked down on as mainstream genres, have been blended with the bleeding edge of Techno, Trap, Jazz and Grime to create a wave of new talent that has dominated Spain over the last few years, and through the likes of Rosalia and Bad Gyal, is starting to break worldwide.

Madrid is the centre of a lot of this movement, known for its super-lively crowds and a carefree attitude, and for this reason we are here to celebrate the finest Spains capital has to offer. From Kaydy Cain and Steve Lean, key architects of the current Spanish trap wave, to exciting new collectives such as Chica Gang, to outliers and experimentalists such as Clara!, we’ll be showcasing the full spectrum of amazing music currently booming out of Spanish stereos.

And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got two amazing international guests, King Doudou and possibly one of the most exciting new rap talents in the world at this moment, Rico Nasty.
