Lone's one of our favourite producers – and favourite dudes, full stop. He's been with us since the early days, the really early days and the really really early days; given us a good long chat about Ghostface and Aphex and even smashed out a live A/V set on our first ever trip to Russia.
So to celebrate his (cracking) new album Levitate, plus a full 10 years in the game, we wanted to take it back to where it all began for lil Lone – and throw a homecoming party in Nottingham.
Also making a return to the Midlands is fellow BR OG Jon Rust, who helped bring a shitload of good music to the city round the mid-2000s. Carrying that torch better than anyone in the present day is label/promoters/rabblerousers Wigflex, so we had to them involved too. And naturally, we couldn't miss Lone's right hand man Gabriola, who ably co-pilots the Magicwire NTS shows.
Plus, to see the night off with a bang, Mark Archer, the man behind one of the UK's greatest ever dance acts: the legendary Altern8... airhorns at the ready.

This year Boiler Room has seen what Sheffield, Manchester and Bristol are made of. The bar's high. Nottingham: your time, finally.
