Vilnius: Opium Club

We’re finally coming over for our long-awaited first show in Lithuania, and no finer place to touch down than Opium Club, Vilnius’ foremost den of iniquities – and with a firecracker of a line-up to boot.

After a couple of DJ sets on BR before, we’re bringing you the full, searing, psychedelic and heavy Red Axes live experience. Opium are building a custom light design especially for this set, and with a new tripped-out album on the way in June, this is going to be a major and unmissable moment on Boiler Room.

The supporting cast for our headliners will be a cabal of the city’s promoters and resident DJs, all excellent in their own right. Between them they have hosted and warmed turntables for the likes of Intergalactic Gary, Silent Servant, Roman Flügel, Prins Thomas, Not Waving, Traxx and Dixon in the past year. Not bad going for a space hardly larger than the average living room.

You’ve got Manfredas, captain of Opium’s Smala nights and a DJ who packs enough power to hold dancefloors in a vice-grip for 12 hours at a time; the internationalist mix curators and notorious wild men of Digital Tsunami; Mario Moretti, prince of Italo-tinged burners; plus something especially tailored to those of you “Waiting For A Surprise” – the world first unveiling of mysterious producer V, who steps out of the shadows especially for this party.
