Well, this one is going to be a fucking doozy.
The absolute cast-in-stone drum 'n bass legend Storm, will be playing her first Boiler Room, and packing a bag of golden era dubplates, many of which have not been aired out since the heyday of Kemistry & Storm's path-clearing mid-90s run. She will be backed by versatile vocalist Cleveland Watkiss, perhaps the only man to have worked with both Om Unit and Bobby McFerrin in their career.
If that's not reason enough for excitement, two contemporary pioneers of experimental club music will be touching down for proper solo BR sets; Logos, for the first time since 2014; and Mumdance, surprisingly, for the very first time.
They both were part of Boxed I and II, and Mumdance has brought us a string of great talk podcasts – check them with Tri Angle, Fis and Riko Dan – but it's high time the Different Circles boys get their own dues. (Just as they've got their own mix CD, which you can, and should, cop here.)
Plus to set the levels, we've got Roly Porter kicking off proceedings with a sure to be mind-bending live drone set. Seriously, this is not one to miss.
