From The Counter: Berlin

Our first From The Counter in Berlin comes from the wonderful Space Hall Records in Kreuzberg.

The 100% vinyl session will be headed up by one of Germany's most influential players in the house and techno scene, Marc Schneider. As the longtime gatekeeper for music distribution at Word and Sound, he has overseen virtually every worthwhile piece of vinyl to enter the country and has a whopping 8000 records in his collection as a result.  Not only that, Marc has DJ'd at some of the worlds leading clubs over his fruitful 20 year long career and is widely heralded as the "DJ's DJ."

Marc has invited his good friend Abayomi to play the warm up set. Originally from the UK but now a full time resident of Berlin, Abayomi is a pioneering producer whose distinct techno productions have been doing the rounds in clubs and mixes for a few years now and are instantly recognisable for their rough and grizzly core. We're super excited for him and Marc to make their Boiler Room debuts tomorrow - what a session this is going to be.
