We're incredibly excited to be able to broadcast Kamasi Washington's debut London performance live from the EFG London Jazz Festival at the Barbican.
His three disc album, The Epic, has received universal praise from both dedicated jazz heads and a much wider audience since it's release in May on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder records. Having won the 1999 John Coltrane Music Competition, Washington went on to play with a vastly diverse group of musicians including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, Flying Lotus and most recently played on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly.
Tune in for what will undoubtedly be an incredible broadcast.
