L.I.E.S Takeover/ Morelli, Madteo, Bookworms LIVE, Willie Burns & Terekke LIVE

Boom! L.I.E.S Recordings are coming to Boiler Room with a whole host of their finest affiliates. Get ready for a slice of New York's most exciting house label!

Yeah, you guessed it.. Mr. Ron Morelli himself will be playing. The mastermind behind the Long Island Electrical Systems outfit will be playing some of his favourite records, and if you've ever caught him DJing you will know how serious a situation this is going to be.

Next up is a guy who hasn't released on the label, but who's music certainly rings true with their entire ethos. The incredible Madteo had us all pretty knock of our feet with his Hinge Finger release earlier in the year. Nevermind his records on Workshop and Meakusma. Overall he's a pretty great guy!

Bookworms are also going to be playing for us live, after only juuust putting out their first record. If you missed it, it sounded like raw and scary just like all decent house white labels should. Go buy it, and thank Ron later.

The hilariously named Willie Burns will also be joining us (i'm not sure if it's a funny name in America, but in Britain it's god damn hilarious). A highlight of the L.I.E.S discography thus far, and that means he's a pretty big deal by the way, we can't wait to see how he plays it because his stuff is prettty varied!

Lastly, there's the fact that Terekke is going to play live on the night as well. All we know of his is the 12" he put out on L.I.E.S and that's why we love these guys so much.
