Thu: Rap Fantasy | Boiler Room Festival London

14 Oct 2021, 19:00 - 01:00 BST

Boiler Room Festival returns to London this October. The stacked programme continues to deliver our core mission: giving as much space to emerging artists as established names.

Live streamed to the world, the ambitious programme will unfold over four nights, shifting focus to explore four scenes and sounds: Jazz Mind, Rap Fantasy, System Sound, Club.

Thursday night at Boiler Room Festival is gonna turn Tottenham upside down with a hypnotic blend of Afrobeats, rap, grime and dancehall featuring some of the punchiest MCs and DJs in the city, at North London's The Cause. Mowalola, Brick Magazine and Elevation Meditation curate stages alongside Boiler Room whilst legendary DVD series Risky Roadz—instrumental in kickstarting the careers of countless MCs in the heyday of 00s grime—will screen their historic archive as well as new series content as a special installation commissioned by Boiler Room’s video platform 4:3.

The sequel to our 2019 debut, this festival edition will fully embrace the contemporary hybridity of our time – with all four days of programming broadcast online as well as digital events for everyone to attend.

Check the full broadcast schedule here.

Boiler Room Festival is made possible thanks to our partners, each with their own values in music: Absolut—the spirit of openness, Ballantine's—spotlighting collective power, Beefeater—celebrating contrast and Jameson—amplifying connections.
