There are festivals and there is Nyege Nyege, a place like nowhere else we have ever been. Located right by the spring of the river Nile in Jinja, Uganda’s second biggest city, the Nyege Nyege crew turns an abandoned holiday resort into a wonderland of music and general madness. The festival has become one of the most important and biggest meeting places for the East African music community, with hundreds of artists performing over four days. We’re super stoked to be back with our own stage, broadcasting two full days of music from all over the African continent and special guests from as far as Shanghai and Bali.
