Following two raucous SYSTEM launch events set in the heart of London’s Latinx community, we up sticks and hop over the Pyrenees to Barcelona. Another hotbed for Latinx diaspora, Barca is currently enjoying an explosion of homegrown talent taking Spanish club music into a new era.

We’ve got a who’s-who of forward thinking, latinx-influenced artists… from Manchester-via-Bogota producer and DJ extraordinaire Florentino, São Paulo-via-Barcelona hotly-tipped MC Buzzz, and La Diabla and Alvva; two of the most exciting up-and-coming DJs in the Iberian scene. Expect some extra-special guests too.

SYSTEM is an award-winning initiative from Boiler Room that uncovers and celebrates the impact of migration on music: borderless cultural movements that grow from the underground subcultures to dominate charts and define the global mainstream. From Reggaeton to Afrobeats to Dancehall to Coupé-Décalé, we’ll explore the roots of these movements, as well as their impact on wider global music scenes. Expect mixes, articles, films, merch…. But most importantly a stream of killer events hosted right across the globe.
