SYSTEM: Latin LDN #2

SYSTEM is an award-winning initiative from Boiler Room that uncovers and celebrates the impact of migration on music: borderless cultural movements that grow from the underground subcultures to dominate charts and define the global mainstream. From Reggaeton to Afrobeats to Dancehall to Coupé-Décalé, we’ll explore the roots of these movements, as well as their impact on wider global music scenes. Expect mixes, articles, films, merch…. But most importantly a stream of killer events hosted right across the globe.

Following on from last years first season, focusing London’s vibrant mix of Dancehall, Dub, Afrobeats, Grime and more, we now shift focus to on the explosion of sounds coming from the Latin Carribbean and its diaspora. Kicking off with a storming show set in the heart of London’s Colombian community, we’re back again with some of the most exciting selectors from across the globe to show you exactly why these sounds will continue to dominate the mainstream and the underground alike.
