We made our debut on the island to present the next instalment of SYSTEM: our event series celebrating global soundsystem culture.

A true cultural melting pot - with its ties across East Africa, South and East Asia and the French Caribbean - Mauritius has fostered a unique music scene which has taken local sounds like sega, and fused them with shatta, dembow, dancehall and more.
