VIVA!: Day 1

Touchdown! We are back in the scenic Italian town of Locorotondo for our second time at VIVA! Festival – to celebrate, we're doubling our broadcast too.

Friday perfectly sums up the vital and genre-agnostic state of contemporary dance culture. Goldie will be back on Boiler Room after two years, with a Blue Note special...which is sure to be certifiably very special.

Joining him for a second appearance on BR will be two of our favourite globetrotters in the shape of Awesome Tapes From Africa and Nabihah Iqbal (formerly Throwing Shade).

In the debut camp we have Milanese act STILL, pulling sonically from 1930s Ethiopia and Jamaica, who will be bringing a time-scrambling sound, plus Italian digger duo Rudan.

It makes for a diverse and standout Day 1 of our weekend back with VIVA! Festival.
