Continuing in the same vain as those prior entries from the likes of DJ Manny, DJ Earl and DJ Taye, volume five comes gift-wrapped by TEKLIFE sensei, Traxman. As one of TEKLIFE’s chief keyholders, Corky “Traxman” Strong’s beatwork has provided a neat blueprint for versatility within the Chicago footwork sound.

“Thay Act Like Thay Don’t No” is empirical evidence of just that, combining neckbreak snare snaps with bubbly undertones and commanding vocal stabs. “Da Rebel” and ” Dilla” complete the triumvirate of tunes on the release which arrives on February 24th.
