For the first installment of our 2012 London sessions, we're welcoming Ninja Tune into the Boiler Room. They've got an awful lot of big ideas cooking for 2012 and they're ceasing the opportunity to show it off. They've every right to show off by the way, as smugly as possible, because the line-up is straight ridiculous.
In an exciting turn of events, Bonobo will be coming down to DJ especially for all of you. If you're familiar with Simon Green's work you'll know he goes way back - so expect great things. This whole show is going to be something of an ode to the remix album accompanying his 'Black Sands' release - so you'll know exactly who to write all your thank you letters to.
From Ninja Tune's sister label, Big Dada homie Dels will also be appearing for one of his fine PA performances. So good we daren't even refer to it as Uk hip hop.
Lapalux is coming to the Boiler Room for the second time, to finish off what he started at his last appearance. He's putting out a record on Brainfeeder real soon, just in case the internet failed you in letting you know. I think he may be the first English guy to do that? Or is that just my shoddy research coming into effect once again?
Ohhh, yeah shit! Blue Daisy is going to be performing too. He's a Boiler Room regular - but always comes with something exciting and new. We've got a lot of love for this guy.
'Black Sands Remixed' is out 13th Feb 2012.
