#52 Hyperdub Takeover/ Funkystepz, Lily McKenzie, Mighty Moe, Scrufizzer, Ramzee, Kode 9 + Spaceape & Morgan Zarate

For the longest, longest time, Hyperdub have been doing their thing and people have been loving them for it. Kode 9 will be talked about in 20 years time, and Hyperdub are going to be looked back upon with glistening eyes - sorry if that sounds like I'm assuming they won't still be doing things when that time rolls around, i'm not. Though by then I hope my finger is so far off the pulse musically I just sit at home listening to free jazz, with a nurse obligingly flipping the record once in a while. I'll be in my forties, but you know, I can dream.

Hyperdub's Mr. Kode 9, will be joined by long time collaborator Spaceape to showcase the dopeness of their second album together. Which is once again taking the combination of bass and drums somewhere different and all of their own. Don't you dare miss everyone's favourite lecturer up in the Boiler Room.

Funkysteps will also be playing, after long being held up as one of the most prolific forces in UK funky. His set will be vocalled by Ramzee, Mighty Moe, Scrufizzer and Lil McKenzie (who i'm pretty sure isn't the scantily clad gyal in this video).

Morgan Zarate will also be passing through to showcase his talents, and after his set as one half of The Shining - it should be way dope.
