With the success of Gengetone, New Nairobi, Shrap and drill, Kenya has been a hotbed for new music scenes over the last few years, with the East African music scene growing and significantly shifting alongside it.

As part of Boiler Room x Ballantine's True Music Studios: Nairobi, "In Conversation With" will focus on the rise of East African club music, and how community-run spaces and collaboration can nurture Kenyan alternative music, hosted by Tela Wangeci.
