Singaporean label Darker Than Wax have been pushing the musical boundaries in their motherland for around five years now, with Lithuanian producer Deep Shoq a notable fixture on their roster in helping the development of the Darker Than Wax style. Following on from last year’s Arrow EP that featured on King Britt‘s guest mix for Benji B‘s BBC Radio 1 show, Deep Shoq announces his second DTW release, Krystallise EP. The four tracks fall in line with the broken beats and uptempo rhythm akin to Symbols Recordings and those of similar ilk, with EP closer “S.O.A.K.” taking place as our top pick, as probably the most forthright and bouncy track of them all.
