This September, Fachwerk Records celebrates its eighth birthday with an exclusive compilation produced by the imprint’s three progenitors, Sascha Rydell, Roman Lindau and label founder Mike Dehnert.

This Dehnert-Rydell-Lindau trio have spent the past eight years cultivating the imprint’s name, almost uniquely with releases of their own material, but also with events held at Berghain and other revered institutions in Berlin. The 8 Years collection recounts Fachwerk’s story through the partnership and camaraderie of the German three-piece contingent, with Mike Dehnert’s “Rewerk” acting as the grand finale. With gradually developing synth layers resting atop a rolling beatscape, the track capsulises Fachwerk’s story of the Elysian techno sound exclusive to Berlin.
