From the innards of TIYG‘s Venetian studio comes In Your Guts, a three-track EP of acid-tinged techno via their newly adopted family of London-based Five Fold Records. Although it may be a stark divulgence from their classical origins, a firm grasp of theory is still audible in the quality of TIYG’s music. Now having entered a bold new paradigm of electronic and experimental, percussionist Luca Ventimiglia and violinist Victor Nebbiolo di Castri boldly wave the acid-tinged techno flag with effortlessness.

The release is opened (albeit unconventionally) with a remix by fellow FF alumnus, AD Bourke, whose take on “In Your Guts” transposes the title track into a techno slow burner, perfect for peak-time on any darkened dancefloor. Falling in line with this comes its aesthetic counterpart; a dark and sensational video created by Orgen, adhering visually to much of what is explored in AD Bourke’s rework.
