We’ve been tight with Peckham collective and record label Rhythm Section for a long time now, and catching wind of a new release is always a very big deal. Aukland-born and Peckham-based duo Chaos in the CBD have been on our radar for a minute. You’ll probably know these two as the hands behind their seminal debut Midnight in Peckham, released last year. Their new release, Invisible Spectrum, doesn’t disappoint. Our favourite of the tracks, “Significant Others” brings the EP to its peak with heavy jazz influences, a bongo beat and serious dance capabilities. Get ready to be wrapped up in the kind of groove that makes you forget all the bad stuff.
