After a three-year-long hiatus, Lone‘s marks the return of his Magicwire label with Lance Neptune‘s Animal Eclipse. The six tracks of ethereal sounds reintroduce the imprint aptly, with “Janus” coming up trumps for us. Synthesised brass stabs and a broken syncopated beat slots perfectly into sonic parallels with Lone’s former Reality Testing and Galaxy Gardens on Magicwire’s parent label, R&S. A well versed, well loved sound that gives us another much needed glimpse of sun.
