Non-Operational People “Octogonal Library”

Who are Non-Operational people? We don’t know. Maybe they’re aliens. But we do know they’re damn good ones. The new anonymous collective from Berlin label, Vakant, is releasing a three track EP. Our favourite of the bunch happens to be “Octogonal Library,” providing otherwordly tribal beats and spacey synths. Bongo beats with a twinge of acid aren’t elements you’d first connect with techno, but it certainly works in N-O’s favour. Just the right amount of psychedelic flavour from the label otherwise known for its minimal sensibilities.

“Octogonal Library” will be released as part of Organic Transmission, on vinyl on 17th October and digitally on 31st October. You can preorder the album here.
