Randomer “Juju”
Randomer and L.I.E.S, back for another one: it makes a lot of sense. But “Juju” stands in contrast to the shrapnel ‘n slime of our other L.I.E.S. Debut of 2015, or last year’s crunching Residents. It’s less an exercise in bucket-kicking techno weaponry, and closer to the complex yet oddly infectious sounds of early Bookworms or latter Shackleton.
The whole EP’s a belter. Even a full seven years (seven!) into his career proper, Randomer’s consistency has yet to taper off. Cop the next instalment soon: LIES063 sees release in September.
