There’s a lot of reasons to be excited about a new track from Second Storey, aka Al Storey, aka Al Tourettes. He’s soundtracked a pivotal scene in an Oscar-winning film; he’s worked with Underworld; he’s a regular collaborator with Appleblim (their ALSO project is now signed to R&S); his Houndstooth album has had support across the board; he’s got remixes on his new EP from underground legends Cristian Vogel and Luke Vibert. But more than any of those reasons, we’re excited because in terms of production technique AND ragged rave spirit he’s one of the best in the game, and his tracks are always superb – simple as that.
