Since 2012 NYC label Styles Upon Styles have been plucking musical gems from far and wide, and throwing them to the winds for us to enjoy. Their open door policy for emerging artists keeps their pick ‘n mix flavour strong, with an output defined by its variation. Their newest release throws Thaddeus Nelson Jr into the spotlight, whose Dance Record features five and a half minutes of feel-good bliss dubbed “ Disco Junky”.

With warm bass progressions sitting underneath calming rays of vintage strings, “Disco Junky” is topped off with glistening nuances and a soothing vocal – tailor made for those sun-lit afternoons.
