Our most recent Funkineven set was so stacked with unreleased material we couldn’t actually archive the thing – so you’ll have to use your imagination to see how this might have gone off in the sunshine. “The Finest” is surely the cheeriest Apron cut to date, a far cry from the rough ‘n ready slammers the label has guided out from Delroy Edwards, Lord Tusk, Jay Daniel et al; as bright and glossy as Benedetta Sodini’s artwork (which looks even better on the physical, fyi). And as if this wasn’t infectious enough, there’s a whole album’s worth of edits available from Sun Runners  女神の恋人達 over on his Bandcamp. Sweet(s).
