Druguse “Twenty Two”

Footwork forms the backbone of this skittering collection of jams from faceless All City rep, Druguse. Hood Rich Life – which arrives on 12” vinyl some time in February – is also rich with rap acapellas, plucking lyrical inspiration from LA as equally as it does from the mid-West. “Twenty Two”, our choice for today’s Debut, successfully pairs snippets of Rick Ross’ “Hustlin’” with a frenetic, juke-flavoured backdrop. Hood Rich Life is out February 16th. Preorder here.
