None of the terms used for this kind of stuff really stuck, did they? Bass music, future garage, uhhhh “post-dubstep” – they don’t really cut it. But here it is, exquisitely-constructed music that has a little bit of the electro-IDM finesse of an Objekt, a little bit of vintage 2-step swing, a little bit of Livity Sound-ish gritty soundystem techno, and a whole lot of dubwise echoes of FWD>>. This is coming on the Wisdom Teeth label that K-Lone runs with Facta, on a split 12″ with Keysound alumnus Etch, and it’s a proper tasty little bassbin-tester.
